New MEPT Design

NEW FSKCW MEPT - 2018

I have started the development of a new MEPT that will transmit both QRSS and WSPR as well as being able to do "band hopping" at pre-programmed times.

The basic building blocks are:-

Arduino Mega (this is the heart of the beast providing all the control)

GPS module providing precise timing reference

SI5351 Signal Generator

BS170S Class E pre-amp after the SI5351

A switched low pass filter board (removes the harmonics produced by the Class E amp

An RF Amp able to deliver up to 15Watts (10Watts desirable on 28MHz whilst other bands Power of 1-4Watts is ample)

A second switchable low pass filter on output of RF Amp

An automatic antenna tuner controlled by the Arduino
